Unbelievably rude of you to drop this as I’m reeling from the state of my own life-altering love and the only person who truly understands is my best friend who’s a state away…

I don’t need to give my story, but this was a beautiful, purposeful, (albeit a little painful) reminder that it’s okay to mourn like crazy cause how beautiful it is to have met someone so lovely.

Talk about a masterpiece of writing in only ~989 words. Though I do find a little "rude" that this hit my inbox right before I had a 12 hour work day, and had to wait at least 13-14 hours before I could reflect on this in a journal entry. But I digress.. thank you Jensen I needed this today, the whole thing.

I'm 23, and I was never really interested in dating until I finally "dated" someone for a few months at the end of last year... my new coworker (I know, I KNOW, my mistake). It wasn't love, and I am trying to salvage a friendship, and I have really high hopes that we will actually be able to be really great friends. But just having a taste of what love COULD be has me looking for my next hit. But love IS rare, and connection IS special, so I guess sometimes we just have to wait. Thanks for writing this, Jensen!
