Love this perspective & excited to hear what you’re working on. Saturn’s return has done similar work in me - crushing my ideas about fate and imprinting a deep sense of the randomness of it all. I think that even if hard work in the direction of your passions doesn’t result in success, it does result in satisfaction and if we’re lucky, connection with eachother. That’s enough for me. <3
Your thoughts around "deserving" are similar to mine about the Christian/Evangelical (incorrect, imo) concept of God's "blessing." It's pretty messed up to call privilege a blessing. I think that's what smashed up my faith. But anyway! I will line up to listen to anything you write. Just Like You is a boppppp. Wolves is one of my favorites.
